Design blues
One of my projects is nearing completion - well, certainly nearing its completion date - and it has only just struck me that given the nature of the project and the people involved, there is just so much information that can be included, but only so much that will ever make it into the amazing site. In many ways it is quite frustrating, but I am having to trim everything down to manageable, bite-sized, appetising snippets; enough to tempt, but not to bloat.
Fortunately, I have a graphic designer who helps check my more exuberant excesses.
There is a BPD lesson in all this: working out what is important and knowing what - however fascinating it might feel and no matter how many triggers it may have - is really important and what is, in effect, marginalia.
Having an editor / therapist / friend / still small voice whose opinion you trust really helps.
